May I return or exchange an item?

All sales at House of Dilys’ are final, as each piece is either one-of-a-kind or meticulously crafted to order. Our utmost priority is ensuring your enduring love and frequent wear of your jewels. Are your gemstones natural?

Without exception. House of Dilys’ works exclusively with natural gemstones, as we hold a profound reverence for the rarity and legacy of Earth’s treasures. Should you wish to learn more about our philosophy on natural gemstones, we welcome you to arrange a private consultation—either in person or via correspondence.

What kind of gold do you use?

Every House of Dilys’ creation is fashioned in solid 18k gold, unless otherwise noted. In homage to our commitment to sustainability, we prioritize the use of recycled gold wherever possible.

For bespoke commissions, we also offer the options of 14k gold and 925 sterling silver upon request.

How may I determine my ring size?

For the most precise measurement, we recommend visiting a trusted local jeweler. House of Dilys’ adheres to US sizing standards; should your jeweler use an alternative scale (millimeters, EU, or HK sizing), kindly note this for our records.

May a piece be customized?

Absolutely. House of Dilys’ embraces the art of bespoke craftsmanship. Share your vision with our Concierge at concierge@houseofdilys.com, and we shall respond with guidance and possibilities. Please note that custom commissions require additional time for creation.

Do you ship internationally?

Indeed, House of Dilys’ delivers worldwide, contingent upon carrier availability to your destination. Upon order confirmation, we shall verify your address. Should delivery prove unfeasible, your payment will be promptly refunded.

All orders are dispatched via express service, ensuring arrival within 1-2 weeks (excluding handling time).

When will my order be dispatched?

Ready-to-wear pieces are prepared and shipped within 5 business days, while made-to-order creations require 4–6 weeks for meticulous handcrafting. Production commences only upon full payment receipt.

Why is the estimated delivery timeframe 4–6 weeks?

As an intimate atelier, House of Dilys’ treasures the integrity of handcrafted excellence. Rather than maintaining extensive gold inventory, each piece is thoughtfully produced upon commission—ensuring unparalleled attention to detail. As we grow, we aspire to expand our offerings while preserving the artistry of our craft.

Care

What if my jewel requires repair?

Should your House of Dilys’ creation need restoration, kindly contact our Concierge at concierge@houseofdilys.com (Monday–Friday, 10 AM–6 PM HKT) with details of the piece, the nature of repair, and your original invoice. We shall evaluate and provide a restoration assessment with an estimated quotation.

In the rare instance of a newly acquired piece requiring attention: if the damage stems from a material or craftsmanship imperfection (rather than wear, improper care, or accidental harm), repair charges will be waived.

May I sleep with my jewelry?

To preserve the enduring beauty of your jewels, we advise removing them before rest, particularly those adorned with colored gemstones. This simple practice ensures their longevity.

Is it safe to swim or visit the beach while wearing my jewelry?

With discretion. While solid 18k gold chains and bracelets may withstand water, sand poses a risk of surface abrasion.

For gem-set or diamond creations, we strongly discourage exposure to chlorinated or saltwater. Chlorine may compromise both gemstones and gold alloys, while cooler temperatures can cause fingers to contract, increasing the likelihood of loss.

How else may I care for my jewels?
  • Avoid contact with perfumes, cosmetics, harsh chemicals, and extreme temperatures.
  • Store pieces separately in soft pouches or divided compartments to prevent scratches.
  • Gentle cleaning: A solution of mild dish soap and warm water, followed by a soft brush, suffices for diamonds and solid gold. Ultrasonic cleaners are not recommended, as they may loosen gemstone settings over time.
