JEWELRY CARE GUIDE
May I sleep wearing my jewelry?
With fine jewelry, we recommend removing your pieces before sleep - especially those set with colored gemstones. This simple practice helps ensure your treasures remain in pristine condition.
Is swimming or beachwear suitable for my jewelry?
For solid 18k gold chains and bracelets: Generally water-safe, though sand may scratch gold surfaces.
For gem-set or diamond-set pieces: We strongly advise against swimming. Chlorine can damage colored stones and weaken gold alloys, while cold water may cause fingers to shrink, increasing the risk of losing rings.
How else can I care for my jewels?
-
Avoid exposure to perfumes, lotions, and household chemicals
-
Store pieces separately in individual pouches or divided containers
-
Clean gently with warm water and mild soap, using a soft brush if needed
-
Never use ultrasonic cleaners as they may loosen gemstone settings
For Hong Kong clients: We're pleased to offer complimentary jewelry checkups and professional cleaning at our showroom. Simply contact us to arrange your visit.
